At Score, we organize charity youth football tournaments to raise funds for underprivileged kids. We raise funds through participation fees and sale of food and beverages at the venue. We utilise the funds to help underprivileged school-going kids in Bangalore.
So far we have raised close to Rs. 2,20,000. This money has been used to fund a water purifier for a government school with 306 students, insulin provisions for children with Type 1 Diabetes and education for underprivileged girls.
The first edition of Score was held at NAFL. We had around 160 attendees, 5 food stalls and raised close to Rs. 70,000. Part of this money was used to provide for juveniles with T1 Diabetes, in collabration with Project Surya. The rest of the money was used to buy a water purifier for a local government school, which lacked access to drinking water.
We held the 2nd Edition of Score at Rush Arena. We had 1 food stall, close to 110 attendees and raised close to Rs. 40,000. This was the first edition of Score where people from around Bangalore came to play. The money raised was used to fund education for underpriviliged girls.
Score: 3rd Edition was hosted at the Gamechanger Arena and featured multiple food stalls, eight competing teams, and approximately 70 players, along with several attendees. The event successfully raised close to ₹40,000, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting underprivileged school-going girls by providing essential school kits, including stationery, uniforms, and other necessities.
The 4th edition of Score was once again held at the NAFL grounds, serving as a platform to welcome new NAFL students while also bidding farewell to those heading off to university. The event saw turnout numbers similar to the first edition, with approximately 180 attendees, four food stalls, and funds raised totaling close to ₹70,000. As in previous editions, all proceeds were donated to the Karnataka Institute of Endocrinology Research, in partnership with Project Surya.
